How ITALAZA works

Who sells what on ITALAZA?

On italaza.com you will find two kinds of products:

  • products sold by ITALAZA: we sell and ship them ourselves. The product page says “Sold by ITALAZA”;
  • products from partner sellers: professional artisans and producers established in the European Union sell and ship them themselves. The product page and the cart show “Sold and shipped by” followed by the seller's name and its status as a professional seller. These purchases are governed by Part B of our terms of sale. The seller's details (company name, address, registration, VAT number, contact) are on their seller page.

When you buy a partner seller's product, the sales contract is concluded with that seller, not with ITALAZA. All our partner sellers are professionals: you therefore benefit from the 14-day right of withdrawal, the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects, which the seller must honour.

Payment

You pay on italaza.com. The payment is collected on the seller's behalf by our payment provider, Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. The seller only receives the money after your order has been delivered. If your basket contains products from several sellers, each one ships its own parcel, with its own delivery costs and times, shown before payment.

Delivery, returns, problems

  • Each seller sets its delivery countries, shipping costs and delivery time. They are shown on the product page and at checkout.
  • For a return or a withdrawal, write to us from the Withdraw from the contract here page or at support@italaza.com: we forward your request to the seller the same day and follow up on the reply.
  • If a problem is not resolved with the seller, write to support@italaza.com with your order number: we will step in.

How products are ranked

No seller can pay to be placed higher.

  • In the aisles, products are ranked by default by sales (best sellers first); a few aisles follow an order chosen by ITALAZA.
  • In search, they are ranked by relevance to the words you searched for (title, category, description).
  • You can change the order at any time with “Filter and sort”, for example by price.

Reviews

Reviews are collected by Judge.me, our customer review tool. The “Verified” badge marks a review that Judge.me was able to link to a purchase.

Report illegal content or an illegal product

Write to support@italaza.com with the subject “Report”, giving the page address and the reason. We reply and inform the seller concerned of our decision, with the reasons for it.
