Morelli Strawberry Cream – Sweet, Fruity Liqueur from Tuscany

The taste of ripe strawberry, in a small glass or over ice cream

Want a light digestif that doesn't bite? This strawberry cream is sweet, fruity and tangy, closer to the fruit than to syrup. It is served well chilled at the end of a meal, or poured straight over a dessert.

What you'll taste

• Texture: velvety and silky, it glides without weighing.
• Aromas: floral and tangy, like a punnet of wild strawberries.
• Taste: fruity and sweet, a hint of acidity that balances the sugar.

How to use it

• Well chilled, in a small liqueur glass, after the meal.
• Over a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or with cantuccini for dipping.
• Topped up with Prosecco, for a light summer cocktail.

Where it comes from

This cream comes from the Morelli house, founded in 1911 in Forcoli, in the Valdera, in the province of Pisa, by Leonello Morelli. From Dante to Piero, then to today's fourth generation, the family has never left the management of the house.
