Where it comes from

Lambrusco designates a family of grape varieties from Emilia-Romagna, from which sparkling wines, red or rosé, are made. The IGT Emilia indication guarantees that the grapes come from this area of Emilia, the plain that also gives Prosciutto di Parma and Parmigiano Reggiano.
