Description

A crunchy ring with a touch of chilli for aperitivo

Drinks are poured, but there’s nothing to nibble on? Open the bag and put the taralli on the table: first comes the crunch, then the chilli adds a kick, and aperitivo takes care of itself.

What you’ll taste

Texture: a satisfying crunch, like a tarallo fresh from the oven.
Aromas: chilli and notes of olive oil.
Taste: savoury, with a noticeable but balanced heat.

How to enjoy it

At aperitivo, with a glass of chilled white wine or a beer.
On a platter with salami, pecorino and olives.
Crumble over vegetable soup or salad for a bit of crunch.

Where it comes from

Puglia Sapori was founded in 1992 in Conversano, near Bari, by the D'Attoma family, with taralli at the heart of its business. The company makes classic, organic and gluten-free ranges of taralli. A tarallo is the crunchy ring served with aperitivo in Puglia.
